StartX focuses on personalized education and development not only for founders, but for its team. You will work alongside Stanford's best founders and be put in roles that will help you personally develop and work on things that you are passionate about. StartX Advocates Program or StartX Internships

StartX Advocates Program is your extracurricular of choice if you want to work side-by-side with Stanford's top entrepreneurs! You'll be part of critical initiatives and projects, given an advantage in future Student-in-Residence applications, and given many hands-on opportunities to work closely with Stanford's top founders, mentors, and investors. StartX Advocates build a deep understanding of what it takes to grow successful start-ups and develop extensive networks in the start-up ecosystem.

StartX Advocates also play a key role on the StartX team, and if you demonstrate high performance quality you will be given the reins in a future quarter to direct the entire Student-in-Residence Program, lead StartX's entire Investor Demo Day platform, or spearhead StartX's entire campus strategy for a full year, during your time on the team (depending on the track you select). This program is open to any active Stanford student, ranging from freshmen all the way to 5th year PhDs -- the top performing StartX Advocates each year are also automatically awarded a paid summer internship if you choose to accept it.

Because of the knowledge and training gained by every successful StartX Advocate, students who serve successfully as StartX Advocates earn automatic promotion to the interview stage if they ever choose to apply to StartX or SIR with a team in the future.

Director of Sales - Institutional Partnerships

The Director of Sales, Institutional Partnerships will identify, cultivate, and secure all StartX Corporate Sponsorship Programs and associated sales. S/he will work with senior executives of Fortune 1000 corporations and thought leaders from the Stanford entrepreneurship community to source and generate net-new revenue annually through selling new corporate sponsorships. The candidate will be comfortable with enterprise-level outbound strategies including stakeholder relationship building, strategic alignment of need, and in-person selling.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible teammate to drive our Admissions Quality across founder, mentor and demo day applicants. Leverage your aligned process improvement and organization skills to check the quality of all admissions processes and outcomes, including for our startup founders, judges and mentors. You will become a committed advocate of quality in our community. The ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail and an ability to learn how to measure and track key quality metrics.
